‘Ice Play’ is a court painting describing ice play scenes. The painting was originally created by court painters Kun Jin, Zhidao Cheng and Longan Fu of the Qing Dynasty.
“冰嬉图”是一幅表现古代冰嬉场面的宫廷绘画,由清代宫廷画家金昆 程志道 福隆安创作。
The huge digital ‘Ice Play’ painting surrounds the audience and slowly involve them in the huge ancient bronze mirror (magnifying glass). The digital painting magically "revives" the ancient bustling scene of various court's ice performances.
巨大的数字冰嬉图展开将观众包裹起来,徐徐卷入巨大的古铜镜(放大镜)里,魔法般的把冰嬉图“复活”出图中皇宫里各项冰上运动的热闹情景;

The audience can occasionally find their own figure in the picture, let themselves ‘into’ the ‘Ice Play’, become a part of the painting. The ancient bronze mirror (magnifying glass) and the totem pattern symbolizing the Olympic spirit are combined as the design concept of the display wall. Let the audience experience different sparks and fun generated by the collision between ancient Chinese winter sports and modern Olympic sports.
